Guest Ministers

Our Guest Minister for May 25 is Dr. J. Richard McDuffie, Jr. Dr. McDuffie was  born in Southport, and grew up in the lower Cape Fear region.  He and his wife, Debbie, live in Harnette County, NC  Dr. McDuffie earned the Bachelor of Arts in Regligion and Philisophy form Campbell University and the M.Div. and D. Min. from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC.  After more than 20 years as a Baptist pastor, he transferred his ordination over to the Presbyterian church. He "officially" retired in the summer of 2021.  Dr. McDuffie is now serving part-time as Pastor of the Covenant Presbyterian Church of Wendell, NC.  His wife, Debbie, is a retired teacher and school administrator.  They have three married daughters and seven grandchildren.
