Our Guest Minister for February 13th is Rev. Tuck Taylor. Rev. Taylor was born and raised on a family farm outside the small town of Faison, NC. Her faith was formed early by family, friends, and the members and teachers of Faison Presbyterian Church. She attended Queens College in Charlotte ('82-'84), earned a BA ('86) and then a Masters of Business Administration ('90) from the University of Tennessee, and a Masters of Divinity ('08) from Duke Divinity School. She was ordained in the United Methodist Church in 2011. She currently has the joy of serving as lead pastor to Louisburg UMC in Louisburg, NC.
Rev. Taylor's husband, George, is also a pastor. They live in Louisburg and together are the proud parents and step-parents of 6 children, ages 20-31: Andrew, Daniel, Joseph, Matthew, Caroline and Beth. Together they enjoy getaways to the beach and mountains, reading, eating out, talking all things church, and being with friends and family.
