Our Guest Minister for August 18 is Rev. Jeff Hartman, Pastor of Stamford Baptist Church, in Stamford, CT. He and his wife Lynn have three grown children: Joshua, a microbiologist in Staten Island, NY, who along with his wife, Lolita, has two children, William and Amelia; Jeremiah, a sheriff's deputy in Street, Maryland, who along with his wife, Lauren, has two children, Grace and James; and Julia who is single and lives with Rev. Hartman and Lynn, along with her dog, Sunny.
Rev. Hartman went to Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA where he majored in Pastoral ministry. He has earned a Master of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary, a Master of Sacred Theology from Yale University, and a Master of Theology from Harvard University. He is a Ph.D. candidate at Westminster Theological Seminary.
He is also an associate professor at Montgomery College teaching Religion and Philosophy. He loves playing piano, reading books, collecting old baseball cards, and is an intolerable fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies.
