Guest Ministers

Our Guest Minister for July 26 is Rev. Jim Borton. Jim is a graduate of the Cincinnati Christian University with a Bachelor’s degree in Ministry and Biblical Studies in 1984. He and his wife Melissa have been married for 42 years and have two grown sons. Luke and his wife Kirsten live in Columbus Ohio and have three children. Joel and his wife Hallie recently moved to Cincinnati and have more cats than Luke and Kirsten have kids. Jim has been serving the First Christian Church in New Philadelphia Ohio for 34 years. He began as the youth minister in 1992, served as the senior pastor for more than 25 years and is currently serving the church family as the connections minister. He still speaks at numerous camps and retreats. Apart from the church Jim works with the New Philadelphia High School football team as their Chaplain.
